Painted Toilets 2025: Art, Community, and Clean Water

Waterhouse Bath & Kitchen Studio is once again turning creativity into compassion with Painted Toilets 2025 — our 5th annual event in recognition of World Toilet Day (November 19). Each year, local artists, organizations, and businesses transform ordinary toilets into extraordinary works of art — all to raise awareness and funds for Water.org, a global nonprofit that helps provide clean water and sanitation to communities around the world.
Meet This Year’s Participants
We’re proud to showcase the incredible talent and imagination of this year’s participants:
-
Advance Advertising – This family-owned business went bold with a colorful “Make a Splash!” wrapped toilet — proving that when it comes to creativity, the sky’s the limit.
-
Gathering Volumes – Partnering with local artist MaKena Ellenberger, their toilet is a whimsical fairytale scene with mermaids, forests, and books.
-
Ryan Roth – A returning artist known for his nature-inspired designs, this year’s piece features a national park theme, complete with a raccoon and his signature “Stay Slimy” snail shell.
-
Renegade Youth Fitness – Returning fundraising champions! Their toilet features handprints from each team member, and they’ll host their 2nd Annual Row-a-Thon on November 15 at 10:30 a.m. to raise even more funds for Water.org.
-
Ottawa Hills Art Club – Participating every year since the beginning, this group of talented students brought a creative twist to their 2025 design.
