There's no finish quite like Copper, with its unmistakable eye-catching glamour. It can create a rich look, especially when mixed with a subtle material like marble counter tops. Copper is a living finish which gives you an opportunity to choose its ultimate look. Because of its antibacterial properties, a natural and unique patina look will develop where tarnish and scratches have occurred. As Copper ages and begins changing colors, it can beautifully blend in with many other finishes.
If you'd prefer to maintain the copper's initial gleam, you'll just need to use some elbow grease to polish it occasionally with non-abrasive cleaning products. Copper is an ideal complement to farmhouse, traditional, steampunk, rustic, or Tuscan aesthetics.

We're going to start with one of the most classic of all finishes - Chrome! This shiny, highly polished finish can easily be mixed with other fixtures and accessories in the same room, while still standing out and drawing plenty of attention. Chrome has great versatility and can be used along with many color schemes. It is cool, fresh and modern, but also ideal for a vintage look. One of the latest trends is mixing Chrome with the very popular Matte Black. Chrome is corrosion resistant, but it does require frequent cleaning because of water spots and smudges. It is typically the most budget-friendly finish.

The warm tones of Brushed Nickel and Satin Nickel have made them a favorite budget-conscious option for virtually any style and for mixing with other metals. Their soft metallic finish is long-lasting, easy to keep clean, and doesn't show scratches or water spots. They have a very similar look; the biggest difference is the tiny brush strokes found on Brushed Nickel.
